So 8 months Later

It’s been almost a year since I had the idea of leaving and with many ideas on what/where I would go. First destination was Mexico City and I was set on this even at my parents contained utterance of “it’s so dagerous” & “you will get killed”. I said I would buy a gun and learn to shoot. This response did little to smooth anything over but ended with it not working out for other reasons involving a two week gap between summer school and the beginning of my Southern excursion. It ended as many things do with me: not much. happening. So I started thinking of the idea of New York or DC and in the end with reassurances DC was the plan for sometime in January. But as January and September went there was lots of emails and no internship. Finally come this week a phone interview with a possibility of a job at the APA.
So hopefully a call back will actually happen.
